I certainly hope that we can generate a GRASSROOTS ground swell for this referendum.  From my observation, it would seem that these non-stop campaigning seasons tend to overshadow everything else that might be happen in our day-to-day news cycle.  Could I suggest that most of the potential candidates are active politicians who are supposed to be doing their elected job, not spending their time out on the stump filling their campaign war chests?  There are other national governments that have placed shorter time limits on the campaign process for elections, and I see no practical reason why the United States of America could not do the same.  So please join me in this effort to get this sort of national referendum on the ballot.

      My friends,
the campaign season started very early this election cycle and still has more than a year to go. I thought I would post this link on the Ryze network to see if there was any interest in bringing this abusive practice to an end.
      Sincerely

      My friends,
After a year of campaigning and a few hundred million dollars, we have finally gotten to the Primaries. But remember, we still have over ten months more to endure before we can cast our votes for President in November. I was just wondering, where are the people that recognize the need for this referendum?
      Sincerely
      Aaron
